6B. It intensifies the tone, changes the pace of the story, causes a bit of anxiety.

6D. Madness, over-acuteness of sense, fury,

7A "well, cautiously, just so much"

7B. Causes it to be suspenseful

7C. Sight, Sound

7D creaked, single thin ray

8A. Slight noise, wind in the chimney, cricket chirp, mouse crossing the floor

8B. Relaxing, Suspenseful, either way you can support

The various tones of the story are suspenseful and anxious. The beating of the heart which in this case simulates fury causes the story to intensify as it is being read. It is like standing on the edge of a rock and knowing that one false move could lead you to tumbling. Yet, you do it. The intensity adds to the suspense of the story which makes the tone deep and mysterious. We want to read faster in order to get past those parts, yet it is everywhere. Like when your parents send you to put the garbage out at night, you run as fast as you can down the driveway.

Answer: Here you go! Please mark me brainliest

Mr. Williams,

My name is Emma Stewart. I am a 9th grader attending Parkway High School. I am writing to discuss how I believe you should let students wear hoodies here at Parkway. Hoodies should be worn in school because of many reasons. For instance, we should be allowed to wear hoodies because of the cold. Some classrooms are cold and hoodies comfort us and keep our ears and neck warm. We should also be allowed to wear hoodies for the bad hair days us students have. Another reason why we should be allowed to wear hoodies is because it can help students concentrate.

Hoodies can comfort us students and keep our ears and neck warm during the day. Especially in the classrooms where teachers love the cold temperature, and in the cafeteria. Jamie Bittiger explains how not being able to wear hoodies is frustrating. She says, “Hoodies provide a feeling of comfort. They also keep us warm when sometimes the school is very cold from the wintry air.”

Wearing hoodies to school can help us students with bad hair days. Waking up too early, is already a struggle for some students. Being able to wear hoodies can boost someone’s insecurity because other students won’t make fun of the student who is just not having a good hair day.

The last reason I believe we should wear hoodies is because it can help students concentrate. Most students, including me, like to put on their hoodies because it keeps them isolated from distractions around the classroom. The hoodie blocks everything else but what you're looking at on your desk or at the board. Therefore, students can concentrate on their work.

For these reasons, I am writing to you to ask if you could please let  your students at Parkway High School, wear hoodies on campus. Hoods can comfort students, keep our ears and neck warm, increase the confidence for those late birds, and can help students concentrate. Please take this into consideration for us students being able to wear hoodies to school. If you have any questions, please call me at (555) 654-8769. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Emma Stewart
