*I will provide some key ideas about female post-modern literature for you to connect with the stories. 

This period is considered to be a moment of testing boundaries, to distinguish from the 17th and 18th C values and customs. This period seems to be based on disorder and a playful approach to life. 

That is why the role of women in literature changed completely. Their characters are protagonists, they are strong, they do not depend on men. They represent indenpende, femaile issues. They were able to express themselves, to reveal their feelings and emotions as well as their thoughts and opinions.
