Answer:

The correct answer is option d.

Explanation:

The prime objective of community-based health care is to sustain the health and quality of life of the individuals who live within a similar small jurisdiction. The treatment provided by the community-based health care is not focused to treat one particular person like done in the general hospitals.

They aim to find the kind of disease, which might hamper the community as a whole. Even though there is less chance to treat more advanced situations, the advancement in technology permits them to make attempts to prevent the disease from taking place.

The wavelengths of light used in photosynthesis are found in the _________ portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.
hoa [83]

Answer:

Visible light

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is a unique phenomenon in which plants use sunlight energy, which is a type of electromagnetic radiation, to manufacture their food. During this process, certain pigments in the leaves of plants called CHLOROPHYLL absorbs the blue and red wavelengths of light ranging from 400nm - 700nm.

However, these wavelengths of light (blue and red) that are used during the photosynthetic process are found in the VISIBLE LIGHT PORTION of the electromagnetic spectrum. The visible light is the only part that can be made use of by photosynthetic pigments.

Antibodies are produced when the body is exposed to
Yuri [45]

Antibodies are produced when the body is exposed to a pathogen. Antibody production is a function of the specific immunity arm of the immune system.

During the first encounter with a  pathogen, antibody production against that pathogen is  a  bit slow and not very vigorous. However, memory of that pathogen is kept in memory cell which are a type of lymphocyte.

On a second encounter with the same type of pathogen, the immune system specifically remembers the pathogen and the response this time round is faster,  very vigorous, specific and  very effective.

Vaccines follow this principle, making good use of immune memory.
