Answer: Don displayed Theta Wave.

Explanation:

Let treat the concept "Brainwave Forms".

We'll recall that: The Brain is an organ that coordinates all nervous actions in the Central Nervous System of all vertebrates and some invertebrate animals.

Also, Wave can be defined as a disturbance (oscillation) that travels through a medium, transporting energy from one location to another.

Therefore, Brainwave is said to be formed by rhythmic electrical impulse/charge triggered by masses of neurones, thereby interacting with each other in the Central Nervous System.

It is useful to think of Brainwave form from a state of unconsciousness to being conscious. Like the frequency of wave, Brainwave is also measured in Hertz (Hz).

Here are the following types:

INFRA-LOW BRAINWAVE ( <0.5Hz)

INFRA-LOW brainwaves are slow in natural which makes them difficult to detect. Very few studies have been conducted about them.

DELTA BRAINWAVE ( 0.5Hz - 3Hz)

They are slow, loud resonating brainwaves generated in deepest level of meditation and dreamless sleep. Healing and regeneration of body tissues and cells also occurs in this stage.

THETA BRAINWAVE ( 3Hz-8Hz)

Theta Brainwave occurs in sleep. It is the passage to intuitive learning and memory. In THETA WAVE, we are in a dream, bright and clear imagination and information beyond our normal conscious awareness.

ALPHA WAVE ( 8Hz- 12Hz)

Alpha waves dominate during quietly flowing thoughts. They are also known for mental coordination, calmness and generating body alertness.

BETA WAVE ( 12Hz-38Hz)

Beta waves engage us in our day to day activities. They dominate our normal waking state of consciousness.

Which of the following functions is associated with the blood?
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

A. delivery of oxygen to tissue cells

Explanation:

Blood is a liquid tissue formed by different types of cells suspended in plasma. It circulates throughout our body, through veins and arteries. Veins carry blood from the organs and tissues to the heart, while arteries carry blood from the heart to the organs and tissues.

One of the basic functions of the blood is the transport of substances, of which the transport of oxygen to the tissues, the transport of oxygen and nutrients to the cells, the removal of tissues from cellular activities (such as carbon dioxide produced in the cell). cellular respiration and the conduction of hormones by the body.

What is most helpful in increasing the rate of plastics recycling
sleet_krkn [62]
It makes sense that increasing the rate of plastics recycling is helpful for eliminating waste. Think about it, when something can be reused, then it should be. Recycling allows this to happen and prevents landfills from being filled too quickly.

The chemiosmotic model requires an intact outer mitochondrial membrane. is supported by the observation that, when isolated mito
Rudik [331]

Answer:

requires that mitochondrial ATP synthesis and electron flow through the respiratory chain be obligately coupled.

Explanation:

The chemosmotic model was a concept formulated by Peter Mitchell, who stated that during the phases of electron transport in the respiratory chain, an intense release of energy occurs. This released energy allows hydrogen ions to be transported from within the mitochondrial matrix to the intercellular medium. The result of all of this is the occurrence of a chemosmotic gradient. However, when interpreting what occurs in the chemosmotic model, we can see that this model requires that the mitochondrial synthesis of ATP and the flow of electrons through the respiratory chain must be coupled.

A cell has a defect in its receptor for growth factors, preventing growth factors from attaching to and signalling the cell. Bas
morpeh [17]

Answer:

Option B

Explanation:

B. The cell will grow uncontrollably and continue to divide as long as it has food.

Cell growth is theeoretically stimulated by the binding of growth factors to their receptors using signaling pathways.

These pathways are regulated by proteins which are encoded for in the genes.

The gene that controls the regulation of these pathway when mutated produce malfunctioning signaling protein thus not allow for regulations of the cell cycle causing uncontrollable cell division. These mutated genes are called oncogenes.
