12.5 because the 6 is higher then a 5 so it changes it
if it is lower then 5 then it does not change any number at all.

Just look at the hundredths place if the number next to it greater then 5 add 1 to the hundredths place so it would be 12.5

Consider the following simplified algebraic expression. Which could be the original expression?
dem82 [27]

You have to simplify each equation. You can do that by adding similar values to each other:

(the first equation)

8x²y + 7x² - 5y² + 3x - 2 + 2x²y - x² -  2y² + 3x - 4

To make it easier, arrange the values around so that similar ones are beside each other:

8x²y + 2x²y + 7x² - x² - 5y² - 2y² + 3x + 3x - 2 - 4

then add the similar values together:

8x²y + 2x²y = 10x²y

7x² - x² = 6x²

- 5y² - 2y² = -7y²

3x + 3x = 6x

(- 2)+ (- 4) = -6

and if you put them together:

10x²y + 6x² - 7y² + 6x - 6

This isn't the answer to the equation, because it's different. So repeat the process with all the other equations until you find one that is identical to the simplified version.

The answer is the second one: 8x²y + 7x² - 5y² + 3x - 2 + 2x²y - x² -  2y² - 3x - 4

What are the missing angles?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

Adding the 2 known angles: 60° + 100° = 160° We subtract this from 180°. 180° – 160° = 20°. Our missing angle is 20°. To find a missing angle in a triangle we subtract the two known angles from 180°.

How is "y more than 4 is -36" written and what is the answer
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

y+4=-36 and the answer is y=-40

Step-by-step explanation:

So the word is means equals, meaning we can change it to say

"y more than 4 = -36

and more than means addition so we can put a plus sign there and we get

y+4=-36

then to solve this equation we need to get y by itself on one side and to do that we can move the 4 to the other side by subtracting it on both sides to cancel out the addition and we get y=-40

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything still unclear!
