Repeatedly throughout recent history, dictators
ad-work [718]

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

People do not usually think they are voting for a dictator. They usually think they are voting for or putting up a person who values their cultural and political interests. However power corrupts, and Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Without a way to keep this person down, most people of the state do not understand what they may have given a rise to. The whole question why do people choose is wrong in itself because people can't choose the dictator. They are dictators and have absolute authority in most cases. Dictators like Hitler, Stalin or Mao may have been appealing to the populist people due to their radical beliefs and hatred. These dictators also are really good orators and could speak and influence a herd-like mentality.

How did the arts in the United States effect changes in society in the 1920’s
Allisa [31]
Across the country in the 1920s. Nicknames for the decade, such as “the Jazz Age” or “the Roaring Twenties,” convey something of the excitement and the changes in social conventions that were taking place at the time. As the economy boomed, wages rose for most Americans and prices fell, resulting in a higher standard of living and a dramatic increase in consumer consumption. Although most women's lives were not radically transformed by “labor‐saving” home appliances or gaining the right to vote, young American women were changing the way they dressed, thought, and acted in a manner that shocked their more traditional parents. These changes were encouraged by the new mass media that included radio and motion pictures
