Effectively Using Active and Passive Sentences Most business writing employs active sentences to improve readability. One way to

immediately improve your writing is to use active rather than passive voice in most sentences. Active voice and passive voice contain the following grammatical patterns: Active voice: Doer as Subject + Verb + Object Passive voice: Object as Subject + Be Verb + Verb + Doer (Optional) Using active voice in writing includes many benefits. The doer–action–object pattern allows for faster processing because most people's natural thinking occurs in this way. It also emphasizes the business orientation of action. Perhaps most important, it specifies the doer. Since business activities depend on accountability and coordination, knowing the identity of the doer of an action is usually important. In most cases, active voice also makes your sentences more concise. Generally, active sentences are most effective in business writing. Passive sentences, however, are more effective when you want to avoid blaming or sounding bossy. In this exercise, you will identify whether sentences are in active or passive form. You will also evaluate whether active or passive form is most appropriate for each sentence.

Passive sentences are: Contract is provided (most appropriated), forms that are completed (least appropriated), You are provided. (most appropriated)

Explanation:

The question is not complete since it does not provide the sentences to analyze or the chart to categorize them, here are the chart and the sentences in the picture.

There are some differences between active and passive sentences beyond the structures given, for instance, the passive sentences will focus on the objects as the main element of the sentence, the passive sentences sometimes make a message difficult to read, and they are used in most of the sentences that have inanimate objects.

Read the stanza from a Narrow Fellow in the Grass how does the final stanza develop the theme that things that are admirable may
xenn [34]

Answer: The  writer talks about their perspective on The Narrow Fellow. It starts out mild, then the last stanza almost disses the Narrow Fellow, as read in ' And Zero at the Bone '. It's admirable since the Narrow is described with the most descriptive words, and it almost seems that the Narrow Fellow is a good person. It's also terrifying since it has quite a volta in the last stanza.

Rajan Drives always to work underlined words in the right position
AlexFokin [52]

Answer: Rajan always drives to work.

Explanation:

'Always' is an adverb of frequency and when it is alone, it is normally used between the subject and the verb.

With <em>Rajan</em> being the subject and <em>'drives' </em>being the verb, always should be placed between <em>'Rajan</em>' and <em>'drives'</em>.
