Answer:

Amelia Earhart was born in Kansas on July 24th, 1897. She grew up in an upper middle class household, but struggled with parental and familial issues. When problems grew worse at home, Amelia's mother would send her and her sister to their grandparents' house. When Amelia's father and mother eventually split, she had to move again. Her constantly changing situations as well as her father's leaving created the mentality that made her want to rely on herself and nobody else throughout her life. Earhart grew up to hold multiple jobs while fulfilling her dreams of flying, and living a comfortable lifestyle. She became an incredibly well known individual who positively impacted history by advancing women's rights and the future of aviation.

If the internet were to crash forever, what would be the benefits and drawbacks to you?
telo118 [61]
Many people would consider this a good thing, because we would largely come back to communicating via talking face to face.

However, we would lose touch with people from across the world. Yes, we could send letters, but it would not compare to the ease of instant messaging. Also, we would lose many jobs and a lot of extremely valuable information.

What is the meaning of Hawkeye's French name, La Longue Carabine?
n200080 [17]

Answer:

It means "the long carbine" or "the long rifle".

Explanation:

James Fenimore Cooper's "The Last of the Mohicans" is a historical story about the Mohicans, especially the Iroquois Indians, and the battles they fought to try to keep their freedom. The story has also been adapted into a movie, directed by Michael Mann.

Hawkeye is the story's main hero, real name Natty Bumppo. He would help scout the land, and he is familiar with the land and its areas. Though affiliated and helped out the Indians more, he is a culturally mixed individual. And he carries a rifle named <em>"Killdeer"</em> which gave him the nickname "La Longue Carabine" which roughly translates to "The Long Carbine".
