A key feature of romanticism is its celebration of the individual. The Romantics encouraged people to exercise their uniqueness

and their unconventional sides. In particular, they inspired people to look to nature and away from industrial society. The works of the American Romantics inspired many young people of their day and spawned a whole new type of literature.
Think about contemporary artists who create the same kind of impression as the Romantics did. Can you think of a poem, song, painting, or movie that empowers individuals to be themselves and to oppose conventional thinking? Perhaps you can think of a piece of art that represents the value of nature over the value of society. Choose one piece of art or one artist, and explain how that work or artist celebrates individualism in today’s culture.

(I can not think of anything, help please)
