When do you use preterite and imperfect tense in Spanish? Thanks
fenix001 [56]

You use preterite to describe an action that took place and was fully done, Ex. José entro a la habitación, you can see John went into the room, he completed the action. On the other hand, imperfect tense doesn't specificate if the action was completed, Ex. José entraba a la habitación, it doesn't tell us if José fully entered the room.

2 - El pastel de CarlotaFill in the blanks Activity InstructionsFill in the blanks with the missing pronouns. November 25 11:59
Elodia [21]

Answer:

The answers are:

 1. Ustedes
 2. Nosotros
 3. Mí
 4. Conmigo
 5. Mí
 6. Contigo
 7. Ti
 8. Ti
 9. Ellos

Explanation:

When you refer to "Chicos" it is guyS in English, which means it's plural. Thus, since in English we know that you is for: tú, usted, ustedes (plural), it'll be this last one. Us, again is the plural and it's nosotros (we). Me the object pronoun, is used to say "Mí" for instance "this cake is for me"; same happens with number five. "Contigo" literally in English is with you, you don't say con tu. Same happens with "Conmigo" which literally is with me not con yo. When you use the preposition "para" you say "ti" not "tu" so that's why it's "para ti" and not para tu unless you mean possesion.
