It highlighted the sectional issues that divided the nation.

It put an end to the debate over states' rights.

The “nullification crisis” challenged the federal government's right to impose its own laws. A war was imminent.

These tariffs had been established to protect factories in the northern states against foreign competition. Southern farmers thought this was unfair.

Andrew Jackson, the president of the United States, issued a proclamation in which he warned that South Carolina's rejection of federal tariffs was an act of rebellion that could end in bloodshed. South Carolina responded promptly in preparation for war.

In what way did United States government promote conservation of our resources during the war in order to have enough supplies f
Wittaler [7]
The correct answer is "The government required rationing and encouraged growing of victory gardens."

The United States Food Administration was the federal agency in charge of rationing food and creating propaganda to encourage citizens to preserve food. This included cutting down on the amount of bread citizens ate on a weekly basis.

Along with this, the planting of victory gardens allowed for increased agricultural output. This meant more food that could be sent to the troops.

C. Demonstrated that increasing England's control over the colonies would not be easy.

Explanation:

The French and Indian war was also known as the Seven Years war, In the war the french lost all of its American and Canadian territories to the British Empire. The French and the British has already been fighting in the Europe since 1750's but later the battles spread to the North america for the control of their colonies. It is called french and Indian war because the french didn't had enough soldiers in North America so they relied on their Native Indian allies. The war started because the French wanted to control the Ohio river area, this led to the dispute with English. The land around Ohio river was valuable for resources and the fur trade. The British defeat demonstrated that it wouldn't be easy for the English to extend their control over the colonies.
