Answer:

The reference to "security suggests that  <u>humans are uncertain of their fate .</u>

Explanation:

Jonathan Edwards' sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" is a strong appeal that the Christian theologian wrote and gave to the early Puritan settlers in America. This was his attempt at trying to bring back/ restore the feeling of religious feeling and obligation to God to live according to His ways.

The given passage is from his sermon where he stresses the importance of repentance and living a life of goodness and righteousness, for no one knows when he/she will die. Edwards' directly stated<em> "It is no security to wicked men for one moment, that there are no visible means of death at hand"</em> nor does a natural man have any security with the life he's living now, for death is always nearby.

Thus, the reference to "security" suggests how frail human lives are and how our fates are uncertain.

<span>The correct answer is C. adverb clause. First of all, you have to know that this is a dependent clause, meaning that it cannot stand on its own (the way independent clauses can), but rather it has to belong to another sentence. So, A is incorrect. Dependent clauses can be noun clauses, adverb clauses, and adjective clauses. Noun clauses function as nouns, adjective clauses as adjectives, and adverb clauses as adverbs. Adverb clauses answer the questions such as When?, Where, Why?, which is the case here, which is why C is the correct answer.</span>

'There is some evidence that using mouthwashes does have some clinical benefit in reducing levels of plaque - but only by a bit,' says Professor Damien Walmsley, scientific adviser to the British Dental Association.

They are helpful, they are never going to be a replacement for the mechanical action of a toothbrush for getting teeth and gums clean.'

A major difference between the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original story "The Adventure of the Speckled Band" and its film version relates to the story's setting. In the original story, we see Holmes and Watson meeting with Helen Stoner in their shared 221B Baker Street apartment. In the film, Holmes works in a modern office equipped with the latest technology. However, the setting of the crime scene is the same in the original story and in the film. It takes place at Stoke Moran. The Adventure of the Speckled Band tells one of the cases of the detective Sherlock Holmes, the investigation of a mysterious death and the suspicioun that someone else might die under the same circumstances. Both the book and the adaptation follow the plot, diverging mostly on the resources Holmes has at his disposal, like a mordern office with secretaries in the adaptation and only a simple apartment in the book.

My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

yes, but it is mostly a moral question

Explanation:

one of god's goal is to make us humans self sufficient, but if there are less people believing in god, then how do people explain how non-living things come together to create living things, or non-living things from absolutely nothing. I'm just saying that some questions are better left unanswered
