What is the key lesson learned from Easter Island?

Biology

The key lesson learned from what has happened on the Easter Island is that the humans should live in balance with the nature and to use the natural resources responsibly. The Easter Island was inhabited by people until relatively recently, and they lived on the island for some time, but there's nothing left from them apart from numerous large heads made out of stone. The people that lived on the island died, and that happened because of their irresponsible way of using the natural resources and destroying the environment. The people that lived on the Easter Island managed to use and destroy all natural resources that were enabling their survival there, putting themselves in a situation where they didn't had anything to eat, nor having material to build boats and move on another place. They were tuck there, isolated, started to kill and eat each other until the last one of them was left and died. This is a very nice example and lesson for the humans in the present that they should be very careful with the nature and the natural resources because there's always a line that after it is crossed there's no coming back.

3. Determine which would have fewer protein and DNA base
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

Chimpanzees

Explanation:

Chimpanzees are much more closely related to humans in an evolutionary sense that cows are. Chimpanzees and humans are both primates, characterized by features like advanced cognition, grasping hands and feet, and front facing eyes. In contrast, cows belong to a different of bovine animals.

Because we are evolutionary more related to chimpanzees, that means our DNA has undergone less change over evolutionary time. That means that the sequence will be more similar to chimps

What is a slow, continuous process while what is sudden and less frequent.
vladimir2022 [97]

Explanation:

A slow, continuous process is defined as gradualism that occurs at slow rate but at a steady pace.

For example, stripes of a tiger develop slowly and at a steady pace so that they can hide in tall grass represents gradualism.

Whereas punctuated equilibrium is a process in which there is sudden and frequent changes that results in the formation of new species.

For example, species living in a sea for thousand of years breed and die over there and suddenly when there is change in sea level than animals must adapt represents punctuated equilibrium.
