The correct option is D. The Militia Act of 1792 makes provisions for the organization of  state militias. This act was enacted to provide counter forces against invasions by Indians and other foreigners. It makes it mandatory for able body men between the ages of 18 and 45 to join a local militia organisation which is coordinated by the state. Members were allowed to armed themselves with particular types of weapons and members were required to report for training twice a year.
