Answer:

As time goes on Charlie experiences amnesia that seems to get worse every day.  He first notices it when he can't remember "Paradise Lost."He decides to reread it, but can't understand what he is reading. A few days later Charlie takes a walk, and can't remember how to get home. His ability to move easily starts to decline and he is unable to use the typewriter as time passes. Charlie gets terrible headaches and spends most of his time in bed.
