The opposite of multiplication is division, so if you take the signaler number after the equal sign divide it by the number before and it will give you the missing number like this:

(I'm only going to do a few and then you try it. I can check it when you are done)

6 x ____ = 60 <<<Divide 6 by this number

60 ÷ 6 = 10

6 x 10 = 60

140 ÷ 10 = 14

140 = 14 x 10

500 ÷ 50 = 10

50 x 10 = 500

Hope this helps!

Hey buddy!

The answers are...

1- 6 x 10 = 60

2- 140 = 14 x 10

3- 50 x 10 = 500

4- 16 x 10 = 160

5- 42 x 10 = 420

6- This one is correct! (10)

7- 490 = 49 x 10

8- 1000 = 10 x 100

9- 450 = 45 x 10

10- 550 = 55 x 10

Find the slope of line passing through the two points, (1, -4) and (5, -8).
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer: y= -1x+b, or -x+b

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope is 1 because you have to plug in the formula, y2-y1/x2-x1.  -8-(-4)/5-1. This is equal to -4/4, which is -1.

Question 6 (5 points)
AleksAgata [21]

Answer:

(26,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

For any two points on coordinate plane (x1,y1) and ( x2,y2)

coordinate of midpoint is given by (x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2

Given

(x1,y1) = (-4,-8)

midpoint : (11,-5)

let other point be x2 and y2

therefor by using formula for midpoint coordinate given above we have

midpoint : (11,-5) = (-4+x2)/2 , (-8+y2)/2

Hence point

11 will be equivalent to (-4+x2)/2

11 = (-4+x2)/2

=> 11*2 = -4+x2

=>22 + 4 = x2

=>x2 = 26

similarly

-5 will be equal to (-8+y2)/2

-5 = (-8+y2)/2

=> -5*2 = -8+y2

=> -10 + 8 = y2

=> y2 = -2

Therefore coordinates of other point is  (26,-2).

The green river freeway has a minimum and maximum speed limit, tony drove for 2 hours at the minimum speed limit and 3.5 hours a
Vinil7 [7]
From the beginning we know we are dealing with two different rates. Distance is equal to (Speed X Time). We have two different speeds though. We will call the min speed = x and the max speed = y.  With those two ideas in place we can make two equations for both Tony and Rae.
Tony:
2x+3.5y=355
Rae:
2x+3y=320
Now you can solve the equations by subtracting Rae's equation from Tony's

.5y=35 solve for y and you get 70
Now plug that y value back into either equation and you can solve for x. I'll use Rae's distance:
2x+3(70)=320
x=55

Write an equation in point-slope form for each line.<br> (If possible please show work)
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

so

slope is calculated this way:

\frac{3 - 6}{2 - 1}  =  \frac{ - 3}{1}  =  - 3

let's calculate y init by:

3 = -3×2 + b

b = 9

so equation is:

y=-3x+9
