Answer:

There are a lot of ways in which India has not improved it's development. One of which is the Poverty and disease persisted in the Indian Society. There is still poverty prevailing in the most parts of India.

The government still needs to implement the policies in a better way to fight such problems. Therefore, India has not improved it's development in this sector but on the other hand India has improved it's development in technology and increased GDP.

Why did the United States largely shy away from imperialism prior to 1890?
Galina-37 [17]
The main reason why the United States largely shied away from imperialism prior to 1890 was because it was still a relatively "fragile" nation with a host of its own issues to work out--such as the slavery issue that eventually led to the devastating Civil War.

Which historical factor most influenced the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

The collapse of the USSR was the process of systemic disintegration in the social structure, national economy, and political sphere of the Soviet Union, which led to the termination of its existence on December 26, 1991.

The disintegration process began in the second half of the 1980s with the beginning of perestroika; manifested itself, in particular, in the desire of the Soviet republics for greater state and economic independence from the central government and ended with the signing of the Belovezhskaya agreements on December 8 and the Alma-Ata declaration on December 21, establishing a confederal union of former Soviet republics, the Commonwealth of Independent States and the adoption of the declaration on the termination of the existence of the USSR on December 26, 1991.
