The theme that the radio broadcast of "The War of the Worlds" develop that is also in the book version of the story is option B. Humans should not assume that they are the only intelligent life in the universe.
The radio broadcast was adapted from the novel by H.G. Wells. The Mercury Theater on the Air was the radio program directed and narrated by Orson Welles. It was broadcasted on October 30, 1938. Both in the novel and in the broadcast, the theme that is developed is that humans assume that they are the only intelligent creatures in the universe and this novel proves it wrong.
To me, freedom means to be able to have the power to think freely, speak, and have the right to have thoughts about things other people may disagree to and no one can say anything about it because it matters to what only YOU think. Other people can say what ever they can to get an agreement out of people, to start a movement. Take Rosa Parks as an example. She didn't have the right to sit in the white persons side of the bus. With her knowing she didn't have the right, she stood up for herself and the others and with that she started a movement to free the blacks and stop racism against different races. With that voice of her's she created something big that would become history.
