Slope = rise over run.

When slope = 2:

rise = 2
run = 1

Point B is at (2,4)

To get your answer, your equation will look like: (x + 1, y + 2)

Plug in 2 for x, and 4 for y

(2 + 1, 4 + 2) = (3,6)

Simplify. divide 3 from both x and y

3/3 = 1
6/3 = 2

(1.2) is your other point, and is your answer

hope this helps

Answer the question below please
PSYCHO15rus [73]

Answer:

x=7

Step-by-step explanation:

AC=3x+3  AB=-1+2x and BC=11

AC = AB + BC

ALL THE STEPS:

3 X + 3 = - 1 + 2 X + 11

3 X + 3 = 2 X + 10

3 X + ( - 2 X ) + 3 = 2 X + ( - 2 X ) + 10

X + 3 = 10

X + 3 + ( - 3 ) = 10 + ( - 3 )

X = 7

Solve the equation 3x + 2 = 4x + 5 using algebra tiles. Which tiles need to be added to both sides to remove the smaller coeffic
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression

3x + 2 = 4x + 5

1. The smaller coefficient of x is 3

to remove the smaller coefficient

we need to add - 3x to both sides

3x +2 + (-3x) = 4x +5 (-3x)

3x + 2 - 3x = 4x + 5 - 3x

Collecting like terms we have

3x-3x+2= 4x-3x+5

2 = x+ 5

2. The constant on the right side is

5,to remove the constant from the right side of the equation we need to add - 5 to both sides

3x + 2+ (- 5) = 4x + 5 +(-5)

3x+ 2-5 =4x +5-5

3x-3 = 4x
