Answer:

The Romans began killing thousands of Jewish people when they retook Jerusalem. Secondly, they forced many others to leave, and they destroyed the temple and plundered it in Jerusalem.

Explanation:

The first Jewish-Roman war began in 66 AD. it is sometimes called the Great Revolt. The revolt was put down by Vespasian and Titus, who would both later become emperors of Rome. In the Siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD, they sent the city into chaos as they killed many Jewish people and forced others to leave for fear. They also destroyed much of the Temple in Jerusalem. There are accounts they also plundered artifacts from the Temple.  The Zealots were instrumental in raising resistance to the Roman Empire at this time. They were a political movement that encouraged people in the Judea Province to rebel against the Roman Empire.

A great example of such places can be the trading routes between India and Europe. India was accessible to European merchants both by land and by Sea, but the sea travel was faster and often more safe than the land journey.
