Explanation: King wrote "Letter from Birmingham Jail" after having faced harsh conditions in jail. The purpose of his letter was to highlight once again the importance of resorting to nonviolent resistance in order to fight against racism. <u>King completely opposed to all types of violence</u> as he implied it in the excerpt provided by means of a powerful allusion. Also, when Lord and Lady Montague are worried about Romeo's isolating behavior, Benvolio talks to him to find out what ails him and comes up with a solution.
