What is a theme in "All for a Paisa"? Experience teaches wisdom to everyone. A mother’s support is never-ending. Life makes fool
Rasek [7]

Answer:

The main theme of this folklore story is:

A: <em>"Experience teaches wisdom to everyone"</em>

Explanation:

"All for a Paisa" is a folklore riddle story .

In India and its neighboring countries "Paisa" means a very small amount of money.

One version of this riddle story is;

A merchant thinks very negatively about his son’s intelligence and learning abilities. Because of this he has decided by himself never to marry his son. Merchant’s wife being a mother always thinks that their son is very intelligent. She repeatedly insists that their son is very able and intelligent.

The merchant in order to put an end to this issue forever tries gives his son a very strange task to accomplish i.e. to buy, with just one paisa, something to eat, something to drink, something to chew, something to plant in garden, and something for the cow to eat.

An iron-smith's daughter advises the boy to buy a watermelon. The merchant gets a proof that his son is able to accomplish difficult task albeit with someone’s help. They arrange their son’s marriage with that girl.

The main theme of the story is wisdom and abilities which come with experience. No one is born wise, but learns with experiences when provided opportunities.

A mother's never ending support is minor theme.

Option C and D are totally wrong because they are opposite to what is described in the story.
