These are all ways in which technological advances have affected geography. Due to the increase of technology, the use of nonrenewable resources is declining, and resources such wind, sun and water are being employed to create energy, which can affect the geography of a place. Increased migration of people is also possible due to better means of transportation. This interconnectedness has also led to a more rapid spread of pandemics. Both of these factors affect the number of people that live in an area, and therefore, the impact that they have in the geography of the place.
