Writing a note to a friend.

You shouldnt use text talk in essays or exams: makes you seem like you didnt take it seriously and dont care
Completing a job application: Makes you seem like you dont care and you arent serious about the job if you do
Emailing a teacher: DEFINITELY do not use text talk when emailing a teacher for help.

yuradex [85]

The sentence that is written in active voice is letter A. Drew aimed his nerf gun at the target and pulled the trigger.  This active voiced sentence can be clearly identified because it uses regular verbs such as AIMED AND PULLED in its normal way without the TO-BE. On the other hand, the other sentences are in passive voice because they use WAS FILLED, WAS GIVEN  AND WERE PICKED. It is also important to mention that the passive voiced is used to highlight the object of the sentence not the subject which sometimes it is not necessary to mention it.

Answer:

Repetition is a literary device that makes an idea or message clearer by using it continuously.

It can also be used as a rhetorical device; a word, line or sentence repeated to make its significance in the whole text more emphatic.

From the poem above, the poet uses repetition of the word "If" to emphasizes the need for calm.

"If you can wait and not be tired by waiting," from line 5 shows that the author believes there is a reward if we meet a certain requirement.
