It might be a great idea to show what caused this changed. What happened and how it shaped the scenario to the point when it was something different. What happened between today and 1991? Can you create a correlation between the changes throughout the years and the current numbers?
Bacon believed that the scientific method proved things to be right or wrong. He set up an approach in believing everything to be false until you prove it to be true which was called inductive reasoning.
