Explanation:

The Earth is worse because of mining and this is because mining usually destroys ecosystems such as forests, rivers and makes the land unlivable for animals and humans alike. But reclamation mitigates this damage and after the mining is done they restore as much of the living conditions to the land or water as possible in order for the life to resume there or for humans to live there.
