Answer:

d. Growth of nativism.

Explanation:

The immigration laws of the 1920s have limited the immigration of the foreigners through a quota system, in which quotas were to be filled according to ethnicity backgrounds. This segregation of the immigrants was too according to different nationality backgrounds and the Chinese were the most excluded. The preference of European over Asian migrants was too witnessed. And these immigration laws were influenced by the Ku Klux Klan and tend to favor nativism.

sveticcg [70]
The Federal Government's first entry into transportation was National Road (b). The Federal Government was concerned with the speed at which goods were transported from their source to their destination. Goods were primarily transported overland by horse and rider. They were transported along the waterways by ships and sail boats. The first road that the government funded was the Boston Post Road. It was built to increase the speed of the delivery of mail. The Boston Post Road was constructed between New York City and Boston.

PLEASE HELP!!!! <br> Which best describes President Carter’s attempts to free the hostages in Iran?
Salsk061 [2.6K]

C is the correct answer. All of the attempts were failed.

In April 1980, frustrated with the slow pace of diplomacy (and over the objections of several of his advisers), Carter decided to launch a risky military rescue mission known as Operation Eagle Claw. The operation was supposed to send an elite rescue team into the embassy compound. However, a severe desert sandstorm on the day of the mission caused several helicopters to malfunction, including one that veered into a large transport plane during takeoff. Eight American servicemen were killed in the accident, and Operation Eagle Claw was aborted.

President Carter continued to attempt to secure the hostages' release before his presidency's end. On 20 January 1981, minutes after Carter's term ended, the 52 US captives held in Iran were released, ending the 444-day Iran hostage crisis.
