She tellls of how this trial had shaken her community for it is evident that the old man was not capable of committing the said crime.

Though the story is narrated by the little girl Scout, there are many main characters such as  Atticus Finch, his son Jem and daughter Scout, Aunt Alexandria, Dill Harris, Calpurnia, Boo Radley, Judge John Taylor, Miss Maudie, Bob E.
