<span>Babylonia did indeed have a very powerful state with a large byrocratic apparatus. Babylonia did not have a police force, which is now taken for granted as a state service dealing with crimes. False accusations were taken very seriously, since the punishment for them was death. This was regulated by the Law Code of Hammurabi. </span>

Babylonia was really one of the most dominant and prevailing state and nation during those ancient times and had a humungous byrocratic apparatus at hand. However, Babylonia didn’t have any law enforcement agencies like the sheriff department or any other state controlling crime forces that are currently being disregarded in the society. The presence of the Law Code of Hammurabi which encompassed that fallacious incrimination was lead to death as its punishment for those who committed such act during the Babylonian time.

All of the following were part of Mexico’s Colonization Laws except:
sesenic [268]

Answer:

a.  Grantees were limited to 100 acres of land.

Explanation:

The Colonization Laws refer to the conditions for colonizers or settlers to be allowed to settle in Mexico. This new law passed by the Mexican government on August 18, 1824, gave numerous terms for the settlement to be allowed.

According to this law, settlers are allowed to be granted lands as long as it is not near the coast or international boundary. This includes acquiring land that is <u>not within 10 leagues of the coast or 20 leagues of the international boundary</u>. Moreover, settlers are to <u>reside in Texas</u> while this right is for everyone legally. One condition that is not true is the statement that grantees were given a limit of 100 acres of land.

Thus, the correct answer is option a.
