From my perspective the crop is called "Poppy Crops".
A cliff collapse could affect the environment by exposing new rock (previously covered by the cliff) to the elements, which could result in runoff of a different nature when it rains. Additionally, the cliff would collapse upon whatever life/features existed at the base of the cliff. One of the most drastic effects could be the shaking of the earth. Cliff failures can result in earthquakes or, if the cliff collapses into a large body of water, massive tsunamis which radically impact coastal environments.
1: Because mostly all of the soil wasn't good for growing crops, especially near the ocean. Also, the early and long-lasting winters killed many crops quickly. Still, New England farmers often grew enough food to feed their families and maybe even help feed other families. The main kind of food New Englanders contributed to the economy was fish.
2: The growing season was only about five months long.
3: The geography of the Southern Colonies featured tideland ideal for growing crops, hilly coastal plains, broad rivers for transportation, forests and swamp marshes.
hope this helps
The biggest doubling time of all the regions/continents in the world has Europe.
Europe is the only continent that has almost 0% population growth (as of 2014), which practically means that with this pace Europe will need an eternity to be able to double its population, so it makes it the continent with the biggest time needed to double it's population.
