I can tell you how to work out 3)
so each side is 4 since 12÷3=4.
to work out the area you need the perpendicular height (line that goes through the middle of the triangle).
to do this you need SOHCAHTOA.
so in this case you use sine and angle is 60 since its an equilateral
sin 60=×÷4
x=sin 60 × 4

Answer:

Hi!

Since we don't know the total number of pages, we'll call that x.

So your equation is

x = 210 - 55

50 points.
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the rules of exponents

(a^m)^{n} = a^{mn}

a^{m} × a^{n} = a^{(m+n)}

Given

(\frac{1}{x^{(a-b)}) } ^{a+b} × (\frac{1}{x^{b+a}) } ^{b-a}

= \frac{1}{x^{(a-b)(a+b)} } × \frac{1}{x^{(b+a)(b-a)} }

= \frac{1}{x^{(a^2-b^2)} } × \frac{1}{x^{(b^2-a^2)} }

= \frac{1}{x^{(a^2-b^2+b^2-a^2)} }

= \frac{1}{x^{0} }

= \frac{1}{1}

= 1

1. Erin hits a golf ball off a tee. The height, yin yards, of the ball off the ground is given by
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The maximum height of the ball is 28.2 yards.

Step-by-step explanation:

When we have a quadratic equation in the following format:

y = ax^{2} + bx + c

The maximum value happens when

x = x_{v} = \frac{-b}{2a}

The maximum value will be y(x_{v})

In this problem, we have that:

y = -0.0018x^{2} + 0.45x + 0.05

So

a = -0.0018, b = 0.45, c = 0.05

x = x_{v} = \frac{-b}{2a} = \frac{-0.45}{2*(-0.0018)} = 125

The maximum height is:

y(125) = -0.0018*(125)^{2} + 0.45*125 + 0.05 = 28.2

The maximum height of the ball is 28.2 yards.
