The correct answer is d. are more likely to show negative outcomes in adulthood.

Children who display high fearfulness, irritability and inconsistent behavior are said to have difficult temperaments. Such children can experience negative life outcomes as adults because they tend to externalize blame, perceive themselves as victims, have low-self esteem etc. Children with difficult temperaments are also likely to have addictions and abuse substances as adults.

marin [14]
The problem arises with establishing whether the children have a problem because of some sort of disability or simply because they are not proficient enough in English. When a child has a problem communicating that could indicate that child possesses some kind of disability that would need to be addressed. But with linguistically-diverse children the problem to communicate might come from the their knowledge of English which can be inadequate so the to educators need to be careful not to wrongly deal with these kind of children.

morpeh [17]

The assistant chief of police has decided to forego using the polygraph test on a suspect and will use a different technique to assess the suspect's physiological responses to crime-scene details. This is known as the guilty knowledge test.

Explanation:

The Guilty Knowledge Tests (GKT's) refers a psycho-physiological survey method that could be used in a polygraph test to find whether suspects are hiding "guilt" by measuring their physiological answers to multiple choice questions.

50 participants were randomly selected to commit one of two real false crimes. Later they were tried with GKT for crimes and things they did not know about. Using the best scoring systems, as per logistic regression analysis, this test correctly classifies 84% innocent and to 76% criminals.
