Back in the early Thanksgiving celebrations, they also liked sporting events and took bets. This sport was called shooting. After taking breaks in and out of the their feast, they stopped to play games such as the Wampanoag teaching the English the Pin game, and the children played Blind Man' Bluff. The main event for the adults were dancing, singing, and having target shooting battles to see who could shoot the best shot.
