The terms set forth in the Treaty of Versailles were not justified nor thought through, as they led to the harsh punishment of the losing side, which encourages revenge and the like. This is why the terms that Germany received were too harsh. The harsh treatment of Germany could lead to them seeking revenge on the winning countries, which would start another massive-scale war.

How did the medieval Christian church limit and protect women
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

Explanation:

Medieval era was very dominated by the Christian church.

The people took their beliefs very seriously, and they were more involved in the church than today. It was the part of their every day lifestyle. In that era, people usually gave up on their worldly life so they can become nuns and monks. That's how dominated and consumed by the church they were.

The church,  played a huge role in everyone's life in Medieval period. When it comes to women, their rights were limited, and Church played a big role in that limitation. The doctrine from the church considered in some way that both men and women have the same rights, that they are equal. But, women represented some kind of evil and they believed that they are more prone to committing a sin. That's where a male protector gets his role -- to guide them to the right path.

The minimum age for marriage was set, and also the punishment for both men and women if they committed some sort of crime. Only few women were able to get education, and some nuns became the right arms of the kings, and some of them became writers.

The overall goal of New Deal legislation such as the CCC, WPA, and TVA was to create: A Increase for taxes B Jobs for Americans
Anton [14]

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a public work relief program that operated from 1933 to 1942 in the United States for unemployed, unmarried men. Originally for young men ages 18–25, it was eventually expanded to ages 17–28.

The Works Progress Administration (WPA), which was renamed in 1939, as The Works Projects Administration was the largest and most ambitious American New Deal agency, employing millions of people (mostly unskilled men) to carry out public works projects, including the construction of public buildings and roads.

The Tennessee Valley Authority  (TVA) was envisioned not only as a provider, but also as a regional economic development agency that would use federal experts and electricity to more quickly modernize the region's economy and society.

The correct answer to this question is letter B, since the overall goal of New Deal legislation such as the CCC, WPA and TVA was to create jobs for Americans.
