Answer:

This persuasive speech plans to convince people to register to vote in the next elections. The most suitable method of persuasion for this is to make a combination of emotional and logical arguments.

Explanation:

As you may already know, a persuasive speech is one where the speaker presents arguments that are created with the intention of converting the listeners to support certain ideas and concepts defended by the speaker.

Image a speech on the importance of registering to vote in the next election. This speech could converge listeners with logical arguments that show how necessary and important it is for the entire population to vote, consciously and rationally, since it directly interferes with the way the country is conducted and the way it affects our lives. In addition, rational arguments could be used that show the danger and disadvantages of not voting and allowing disabled and negligent leaders to assume such an important role in our lives.

Why were enslaved African Americans were generally denied an education ?
USPshnik [31]

During the era of slavery in the United States, the education of African Americans, enslaved and free, was often discouraged, except for religious instruction, and eventually made illegal in many of the Southern states. It was believed that literacy was a threat to the institution of slavery. First, literacy facilitated knowledge about the successful slave revolution in Haiti of 1791–1804, the end of slavery in the British Empire in 1833, and the writings of abolitionists. Secondly, literacy allowed or potentially allowed slaves better access to information about the Underground Railroad and other routes to freedom.
