Here are some questions to help you get a good contextualization of the text:

1. What is the story about?
2. Look at the author of the text. Could there be some bias?
2. What is the theme? Any underlining messages?
3. Does anything contradict itself, theme wise or story wise?
4. What does the author want you to understand or grasp?
5. Does the author do a good job of it? If not, what did you actually gather from the story?

Context is the name given to the circumstances that form the setting of an event. This includes all the characteristics, conditions, ideas and factors that surround an event. There are several questions that can be asked in order to determine a text's context. Some examples include:

Where does the story take place?

When does the story take place?

What are the social conditions of the place?

How is that society different from ours?

What historical events took place during these time period?

Subject: Complaint about the unsanitary living conditions.

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I would like to point out the unsanitary conditions of Chitragupta Colony, Gurgaon. It has been so many months that the garbage disposal workers as well as the sanitary workers had been here.

We, the residents, have written numerous times to the authorities but have not got any response. So, it is my request that you look into the matter as it has become a big menace to the residents of this area. Moreover, mosquitoes have also increased, which further led to the residents' problems of having to deal with diseases and infections.

Sir, I am requesting you to kindly look into the issue and help solve it as soon as possible.

Thank you.

In Selection 2, what connection is drawn between the scientific research and the presence of wild horses in the Currituck Nation
andrew-mc [135]

Answer:

Unless scientific studies find that the horses threaten the habitat of an endangered species, the horses will be allowed to remain in the Refuge.

Explanation:

According to a different source, this question refers to the article "Herd’s Fate Lies in Preservation Clash." In this article, we learn about the extremely endangered wild horses in the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge. These horses are most likely descendants of Spanish horses that arrived roughly five centuries ago. However, they have now become wild animals that inhabit this region. Scientists want to study whether the presence of the horses is dangerous to the ecosystem. If that turns out to be the case, it is likely that the animals will not be allowed to remain in the refuge.
