A snake eats the eggs in a bird's nest. Later that day, a hawk swoops down and eats the snake. Approximately what percentage of

Hi there!

This would be an example of an energy pyramid! In an energy pyramid, the next trophic level gets only 10% of the energy from the level below it. In this example, lets say that there is 100 energy in the eggs. Then, 10% of that goes to the snake, so the snake gets 10. Lastly, the hawk eats the snake, so the hawk gets 1. The answer is 1%, option A.
