Nothing but their children’s deaths could stop the parents’ anger.

The first line is about how the parents hatred never ends. It just keeps continuing. The second line translates to saying that the death of the children is the only thing that can remove the anger they have for each other. This is a shame because the feuding between the families can be seen as one of the causes of Romeo and Juliet's deaths. If the families had reconciled earlier, Romeo, Juliet and Tybalt my all still be alive.

text that lists benefits of owning a dog from least important to greatest importance uses _____ order
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

I saw this question and answer here brainly.com/question/18348867 sooo

Explanation:

Answer:

5. climatic

Arranging things in a sequence, where each things precedes or succedes another is called ordering. Ordering can be done in several ways, depending on ordering criteria.

For example, we can arrange events chronologically, which means we arrange them based on the time period when they occured; from the most to the least recent event, or vice versa.

Spatial arrangement means that we list things based on their position in space; from right to left, or from top to bottom.

Logical order is when we place things in a manner that each one logically follows the previous.

However, in this example, we have climatic order, which means that things are arranged in an order from the least important to the most important, making the final thing on the list the most important, or strongest, or the best.

Charra [1.4K]
The man, the dog, and the cat all sit down at the bar and the bartender says "What can I get you?" The dog looks squarely at the bartender and says I'll take a vodka, the guy will take a water, and the cat will take a scotch." The bartender looks absolutely shocked at the dog and says "This is AMAZING! You're a dog that can talk..." The guy looks at the bartender, and says "Don't be fooled, the cat is a ventriloquist."

How does Dickens characterize Scrooge's outward appearance?|
Elza [17]

Answer:

In stave one, Ebenezer Scrooge is depicted as an extremely cold, callous businessman who is insensitive, cold-hearted, and miserly. Dickens vividly describes Ebenezer Scrooge by writing,

Scrooge! a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! Hard and sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out generous fire; secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster. The cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, shriveled his cheek, stiffened his gait; made his eyes red, his thin lips blue; and spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice.

Scrooge's character is synonymous with the cold, frigid environment, and his features seem to highlight his miserable, unfriendly demeanor. Dickens further characterizes Scrooge as a bitter, callous man by revealing how the citizens of London go out of their way to avoid him in the street. Even animals purposely avoid Scrooge and never make eye contact with him.

Scrooge is further characterized as a greedy, solitary man during his interactions with his nephew and with his employee, Bob Cratchit. Scrooge rejects his nephew's offer to celebrate Christmas, threatens to fire his employee, and dismisses the two gentlemen collecting holiday donations to the poor. Dickens's portrayal of Scrooge's unfriendly, miserly personality only emphasizes his remarkable transformation after he is visited by three spirits that night. By the end of the story, Scrooge has transformed into a loving, charismatic, friendly man who is generous, warm, and hospitable.
