This excerpt is written in first person.

Grammatical persons are traits that express a relationship of the people referenced in a speech act with that act. It distinguishes the first person, who is the transmitter of spoken; the second person who would be the receiver or who listens and the third person who is any person independent of the transmitter and receiver.

To realize that the first person is spoken, we notice that the "I" is used to describe the personal pronoun, as is done in this text.

Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

ou should be honest, but don't bring up negative issues. If you must, frame it as a lesson learned.

Why does the author describe reading as a positive escape? In what ways is reading positive?
OverLord2011 [107]

The author may describe reading as a positive escape because of their own personal experiences. Books appeal to the readers' emotions as to draw them into the book. Reading can be positive because it betters your brain, and can help you experience things inside of your imagination.

Onomatopoeia is a word that sounds the same as it's meaning...there is none in the poem. Personification is making non-human things human like...since the poem is all about a person, this is not correct either. Hyperbole is an over exaggeration. Throughout the poem, Shakespeare over exaggerates the weaknesses of the person he loves.
