okay i cant really answer number 2 because i dont know you but i can help with all of the other ones.

question 1: something i found interesting was the black family tree and how sirius really didnt get along with most of his family.

question 2: again sorry cant give you an exact answer because i dont know you but you could say that tonks reminds you of one of your family members with how goofy she is.

question 3: the climax occurs at the ministry with the fight against malfoy sr. and bellatrix and the other death eaters. some members of the DA (dumbledores army) go with harry to the ministry because he saw sirius (his godfather and only piece of family he has left) being tortured by voldemort.

question 4: absolutely. harry potter is amazing and Rowling does a really good job of telling the whole story.

next part question 1: i knew that umbridge was going to be a terrible person from the moment she was brought up.

next part question 2: umbridges description was enough to go on that it just gave you this feeling of just a terrible person and an even worse toad. (because she's described as alike to a toad)

i really hope this helped. :)

Answer:

D. varying the rate at which you speak

Explanation:

Verbal Strategies

The way you speak also affects the impact of your speech on your audience. Different ways of speaking are known as verbal strategies.

Take a look at the list; it shows some examples of verbal strategies.

These also are things your teacher will evaluate when you give your speech.

Think About It

Think of a time when you listened to a speaker who did not use effective verbal strategies. What could he or she have done to give a better presentation?

Verbal Strategies

• Vary the pitch and tone of your voice.

• Vary the rate, or speed, at which you speak.

• Speak loudly enough.

• Pronounce key words slowly for emphasis.

• Pause to catch your breath or to emphasize important points.

• Be careful not to fill the speech with um, uh, or er.

• Use a conversational tone.

"Claim: School uniforms help create equality in schools."
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

School uniforms help create equality in schools in many aspects. For instance, many students are judged by how they dress themselves in school. This will create a division between the wealthier students and the less wealthy, as they feel that the other group cannot belong with their group. Having uniforms will help bring the students together because you cannot judge a person’s economic and social background from the same uniform. This will also help students interact more so they are not scared of being judge mental by others though clothing. Thus, the uniforms help make the teachers and staff focus on teaching. They cannot see the students based on the designer or thrift clothing they wear, so favoritism is lowered. Since the students receiving equality attention and teaching form teachers, they will moreover have a better education experience.
