It was the first civil war. Additionally, after the Civil War, 3 amendments were added to the Constitution that made it legal for the freedmen to vote. This allowed for new issues and a new movement to allow women to vote. After the civil war, segregation was implemented and that created the Civil Rights Movement to get rid of segregation. Hope this helps.
Answer:
nonliner
Explanation:
2x - 7 = πx - 5= A nonlinear equation has the degree as 2 or more than 2, but not less than 2.
African american problems were bigger than those women were facing, because women faced discrimination in the workplace and stuff like that etc , however african americans faced problems in all aspects of what make up a person. So african americans had to take other means of trying fight for their rights as malcolm x once said, “by any means necessary” so that leads me to my next point.. african americans used 2 different tactics like civil disobedience and a more militant type of strategy. Civil disobedience was the act of going on marches and organizint sit ins etc, but in a peaceful way and was lead by marthin luther king. However the more militant movement included violence etc, you name it and that was lead by malcolm x. Women were able to get their way through with things like the feminist movement and the civila rights act of 1964 which included title 9 that prohibited discrimination in the workplace despite of race, gender, ect.
You can start with:
"Dear Representative Name Here:
As a student, I am interested in how you are involved within the government. I wish to inquire about the committees that you currently served in, whether it is state or local. It will be very useful for me to study someone with a local perspective.
I also wish to find out about what types of bills you have submitted. These bills may pertinent towards my own studies, especially if they involve any of the local issues.
I would furthermore request that you enclose in your reply a copy of a speech that you have made in Congress. It is good to learn from your stances directly.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Your Name"
There's not enough rhetoric but this is a start.
