The simplest and easiest way to protect your social security number and other sensitive information from identity theft is to limit the number of credit cards you carry.

Further Explanation:

There are so many cases if Identity theft in United States because people of U.S feel obliged to provide their Social Security Number for interactions and transactions. The idea behind social security numbers was never to use it as ‘one identity for everything’ but off-late in many things this happened. Not all the governmental departments in United States ask of Social Security Number, There are only few of those who actually require it such as Employer, U.S Treasury, State Welfare Departments, and Insurance Departments. But there are also many institutions and departments who ask for one’s Social security number but they don’t actually need it. There are many ways through which people can save themselves from such identity thefts. They can ask the person who is insisting for social security number that why do they need it and how will it be used, asking for privacy policy in regards to how their SSN will be used but the main reasons of this kind of Identity theft is through credit cards. Information from credit cards can easily be hacked and can be used in wrong way such as taking out personal information or bank records. So, to limit this, what can be done is to limit the number of credit cards that person is carrying and only use it when it is required.

What social and economic consequences accompanied the United
Mariana [72]

Answer:

The American economy experienced, from the development of the Industrial Revolution and in particular after the War of 1812, a process of reconversion of its productive systems, which until then were eminently agrarian, to become predominantly industrial in the north of the country, based on the production of steel, the construction of ships, the elaboration of manufactures, and the industrialized exploitation of natural resources. This situation resulted in the development of a salaried social class, which went from working in their own fields to working in dependence for the owners of the industries, in exchange for a fixed monthly wage.

This meant a series of social changes in the nation, which had a decisive impact on the country's politics, economy, and culture. Thus, on the one hand, most of the wealth was transferred to the large cities of the north, while the main production centers were located there. This caused a huge migration by rural workers to the cities, which ended up determining the big city status of places like New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Cleveland, Detroit or Boston, among other cities.

In addition, it motivated the creation of an urban middle class, which did not own the means of production but was not immersed in poverty, that worked in these industries.

On the other hand, this development caused the tensions between the north and south of the country, as it was a clash for two well differentiated lifestyles: urban and industrial in the north, against rural and agricultural in the south.
