Explain about the plot summary?

A plot summary is a condensed explanation of how a tale unfolds. It doesn't explain any underlying themes, offer viewpoints, or even go into great length regarding the work. When a student does a literary analysis, they delve into the text's underlying meaning and look at its various components.

Introducing the key characters, the place, and the plot enables the reader to comprehend the basic context of "The Great Gatsby," for instance, "A young businessman, Nick Carraway, travels to Long Island in the 1920s and meets Jay Gatsby, a rich bachelor with a mysterious history."

The exposition, increasing action, climax, decreasing action, and resolution are all components of a story's plot.
