Votre sœur est travailleuse (féminin)

Ton oncle est un bel homme (masculin singulier)

Carol et Émilie sont de mauvaise élèves (féminin pluriel)

La famille Baudelaire est une grande famille(féminin singulier)

Adjectives always agree in gender and number with the noun they qualify

1- Ses sœurs sont sympathiques.  (fem. plur.)

2- Votre frère est un homme brillant. (masc. sing.)

3- Ma grand-mère est élégante.  (fem. sing.)

4- Notre père est généreux. (masc. sing.)

5- Mes amies Lauren et Jennifer sont gentilles. (fem. plur.)

6- Votre sœur est travailleuse. (fem. sing.)

7- Ton oncle est un bel homme. (masc. sing.)

 beau = masc. sing.

 but when the following noun begins with a vowel or a mute h, "beau" turns in "bel" = un beau garçon, but un bel homme, un bel appartement

8- Carole et Émilie sont de mauvaises élèves. (fem. plur.)

9- La famille Baudelaire est une grande famille. (fem. sing.)

10- all the adjectives in French that (can) precede the noun.

 Bon = un bon garçon. un homme bon. ► both

 petit = un petit garçon.

 charmant = un charmant monsieur. Un monsieur charmant► both

 vieux = un vieux monsieur.

sportif always is after

petit & vieux  are always before.

bon & charmant can be both before & after

12- C'est mon père Bernard. Il est amusant.  (F & C .. watch out ►il not ils)
