The answer is C: speed and technology.

Futurism was an artistic and also a social movement that began in Italy during the first years of the 20th century. This movement idolized modernity, speed, technology, youth, and specially emphasized their liking for violence. The best well-known figure in this movement came to be his founder, Marinetti, who wrote the Manifesto of Futurism.
