Answer:

A. Empathy.

Explanation:

When reviewing works of friends or anyone, it is necessary to do it within the confines of giving positive energy instead of the negative ones. Reviewing works and getting reviews are supposed to help in the improvement of the work and not the other way round. So, when the reviewer says anything negative about the reviewed work, it will only decrease the confidence of the writer. On the contrary, when a reviewer says the positives of the work and even if there is a need for improvement and changes, if these comments are pointed out in a more encouraging tone and helpful tips are given, then it will help in boosting the confidence of the writer and will also make him/her appreciative of the effort put by the reviewer. Having empathy for the person writing the work is crucial for any reviewing work, because everyone have their own ways of dealing with things.

Figurative language refers to the color we use to amplify our writing. It takes an ordinary statement and dresses it up in an evocative frock. It gently alludes to something without directly stating it. Figurative language is a way to engage your readers, guiding them through your writing with a more creative tone.
