In what way dose the executive branch check the powers of the legislative branch​

Answer:

The President in the executive branch can veto a law, but the legislative branch can override that veto with enough votes.  This helps the executive branch check the legislative branch by letting them control what they do with their power. The legislative branch has the power to approve Presidential nominations and can impeach the President or remove them from office.
