What was the job of the constitutional convention?
zhenek [66]
Although the Convention was intended to revise the Articles of Confederation, the intention from the outset of many of its proponents, chief among them James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, was to create a new government rather than fix the existing one. The delegates elected George Washington to preside over the Convention. The result of the Convention was the creation of the United States Constitution, placing the Convention among the most significant events in the history of the United States.

Giving Brainliest!

I need a paragraph explaining what the 7th amendment is and its orgins
madreJ [45]
The Seventh Amendment was part of the Bill of Rights that was added to the Constitution on December 15, 1791. This amendment protects the right to a trial by jury in civil court cases.

The writers of the Bill of Rights wanted to make sure that the government would not do away with a trial by jury. They were concerned that if trials were only decided by judges, the judges would side with the government, giving the government too much power. This happened to the colonists when judges, who were appointed by the king, would always side with the king. They felt a jury of local people would be more likely to provide a fair trial.

Which statement best describes Africa after world war 2
I am Lyosha [343]

As a "Continent ravaged by a series of revolutionary movements".

After the events of the Second World War, the European countries which held colonies in the African Continent were no longer able to assign economic resources for their adequate maintenance, as they were heavily indebted due to the war. This lack of resources and subsequent mismanagement lead to a series of revolts within the African Colonies, which at the time were French Algeria, Portugues Angola, the Belgian Congo, and British Kenya.
