The signal fire was originally lit and kept burning in case a ship comes past the island and will rescue him. The signal fire originally symbolizes hope - hope that the boys will be rescued. Towards the end of the novel the signal fire changes. This represents C - a gauge of the boys desire to return to civilization. The boys let the signal fire go out. They are more interested in hunting and killing Ralph than being rescued so they light a fire to try and flush Ralph out from his hiding place. Ironically this is the fire that catches the attention of a passing ship and the boys are rescued.

List three (3) of the six (6) steps in the decision-making process. Using an example of a decision you're trying to make, descri
motikmotik

Three of the steps in decision making are- Identify the problem, Evaluate alternatives, and Making the decision. For example, if we are trying to choose to buy a dog or not we use those steps to help us choose our final decision.

With the 'Identify the problem' step, you should take a step back from the issue and realize what your issue is and why it's an issue. In our given example, our issue we are identifying is that we can not choose whether to get a dog or not. The things stopping us from getting a dog is our free-time, our travel issues, and disagreement with roommates.

With the 'Evaluate alternatives' step, you now should be choosing from the choices you have made into what we can do to make the best decision possible. In our example, for our travel issues we can hire a dog-sitter to watch over the dog while we are on vacations incase anything happens.

With the 'Making the decision' step, this is where after weighing pros and cons, finding alternatives, and a final conclusive: You make the choice. With our example, this is where we choose to buy the dog, or to not buy the dog.

How is guilt presented in the poem war photographer?
monitta

Guilt is a photographer who is in the process of developing his his most recent war, in light of the fact that he needs to show individuals what's going on, but can't do anything else to help.

Explanation:

Duffy seems to appreciate the picture taker and be disparaging of all of us. The lyric is effectively against war. He Shows the absence of feeling that the Editor shows when confronted with these pictures - he doesn't have the passionate association the photographic artist does.

This structure is intriguing since its extremely inflexible request appears differently in relation to the turbulent, upsetting pictures depicted in the sonnet. She was particularly charmed by the curious test looked by these individuals whose activity expects them to record horrendous, terrible occasions without having the option to straightforwardly support their subjects.

1 is unclear, please take a better picture

2. x-18=-5, add 18 to both sides so x=13

3. square both sides and get x-8=-x+2, add x to both sides, get 2x-8=2, add 8 to both sides, get 2x=10, divide both sides by 10 and get x=5

4. use distance formula

√( (x-x`)^2 + (y-y`)^2 ) = d

√( (4+5)^2 + (x-8)^2 ) = √155

√ ( 81+x^(2)-16x+64 ) = √155
