Congress overlooks the powers of all branches of the government including the President of the United State in the Executive Branch and the Supreme Court Justices in the judicial branch.

Answer

The Congress exercises this power largely through its congressional committee system. The Congress's oversight authority derives from its powers in the Constitution, public laws, and House and Senate rules

Explanation

Oversight refers to the review, monitoring, and supervision of federal agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation. Over-sighting is done by the United States Congress of the Executive Branch, including the numerous U.S. federal agencies. The importance and the purposes of oversight is  Streamlining committee structures or responsibilities would reduce this negative aspect of oversight. Congressional oversight has an important positive role, especially regarding intelligence, but one that a change to committees would do little to enhance. This is done through the process of check and balances which is the principle of the government under which separate branches which are the executive, the judiciary and legislative are empowered  to limit the powers of each other. In this way it prevents oe of the branches to be more powerful than others.

Afrter analyzing the illustration by paul rever of the boston massacre, what was his intent?<br>
Sidana [21]

Answer:

In the images of the troops and colonists, it appears that the British are

unmercifully murdering the colonists. The colonists look innocent and

helpless, while the British look like cold blooded killers. I would assume that

these images were a colonists point of view of how things happened. The

document made the colonists seem like extremely aggressive protesters that

wanted nothing more, but to hurt the colonists. It also makes it seem like the

British did it accidentally. I would expect this to be the British point of view.
